Tim Hassenger has more than 25 years of senior management, financial and operational experience in a wide range of industries including aerospace, retail, media and broadcasting, telecommunications and consumer products, to name only a few. His expertise in the financial and operational facets of business enables him to add significant value in the turnaround of operating trends. His financial restructuring skills enable him to resolve the complex banking, regulatory and legal issues that exist in many troubled company situations. His industry experience has focused on the operational aspects of the under-performing company as Mr. Hassenger’s client following has largely been institutional, as well as private equity-backed owners of businesses seeking to improve their operations.
Prior to joining Conway MacKenzie, Mr. Hassenger was President of TECT Aerospace, Inc, a $150 million revenue US-based manufacturer of aero structures that serves primarily the commercial airspace market place. He undertook the turnaround the of business which included operations, commercial negotiations with customers, regulatory issues and marketplace issues in the post-2008 industry challenges.
Mr. Hassenger was a Partner and Nightingale & Associates, a Stamford-based turnaround firm, where he worked primarily in the operational turnaround of portfolio company operations of the firm’s clients. These clients were primarily in the middle market that were under-performing relative to the owners expectations and typically needed intensive, hands-on management.
Mr. Hassenger is a graduate of the University of South Dakota, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He completed his MBA coursework at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management. Mr. Hassenger is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute. |
