Seth Bullock is a Director with Conway MacKenzie in Houston specializing in advising underperforming companies, unsecured creditors and banking institutions on financial restructurings, valuation, strategic planning and business turnarounds. Mr. Bullock has extensive experience in the energy sector, including; upstream oil and gas, oilfield service, biofuels, power generation and retail electric providers. A sample of projects where Mr. Bullock served as advisor or creditor representative include: Coho Energy, Inc., Forcenergy, Inc., Tri-Union Petroleum Corp., TransTexas Gas Corporation, Stallion Oilfield Services, Inc., US Energy Systems, Inc. and numerous corn-based ethanol projects. Outside of energy, Mr. Bullock has experience in the manufacturing, transportation, consumer products, lodging, retail and healthcare sectors.
Prior to joining Conway MacKenzie, Mr. Bullock was involved in restructuring numerous upstream oil and gas, oilfield service, power and biofuel credit investments for a $500 million distressed debt hedge fund. Previously, Mr. Bullock was with Koch Capital Markets where he held positions of increasing responsibility, culminating in his role as Portfolio Manager of the Credit Arbitrage Group where he managed a $1 billion credit portfolio. Prior to Koch, Mr. Bullock was a Manager in the Energy Corporate Finance practice of Arthur Andersen where he managed numerous restructuring and M&A advisory matters, primarily in the upstream oil and gas, power and oilfield services sectors. Mr. Bullock began his career as an Analyst in the Financial Valuation Services Group of Arthur Andersen where he focused on the valuation of business enterprises, closely-held stock, intangible assets, options, warrants and debt.
Mr. Bullock is a CFA Charterholder and held NASD Series 7 and 63 licenses. Mr. Bullock received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola University, New Orleans. |
