Jeff Zappone has over eighteen years of experience in restructuring, reorganization, and turnaround management with specific expertise in crisis management, insolvency and bankruptcy. He has provided these services in a wide range of industries including automotive, transportation, metal machining, fabrication, processing and forging, commercial finance and leasing, warehousing and distribution, consumer products, and food and beverage manufacturing. He has advised debtors, customers, secured lenders, and creditor committees in both formal and informal environments. Most recently, he has served as financial advisor as well as Interim Chief Executive Officer, Interim Chief Restructuring Officer, and Interim Chief Financial Officer to under-performing manufacturers and service companies.
Prior to Conway MacKenzie, Mr. Zappone worked with Glass & Associates, Inc., operated as Chief Financial Officer and Director of a privately held transportation company, and worked as a Senior Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. Zappone has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Westminster College and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business. In 2004, he was named ‘People to Watch – Business Professionals Making Their Mark’ by Turnarounds & Workouts magazine. Mr. Zappone is a Certified Turnaround Professional and a member of the Turnaround Management Association, American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Association for Corporate Growth; and has been a recent guest speaker at a number of turnaround industry conferences.
